The not so humble handbag.
They have been around for 100’s of years. They are purposeful, practical and useful. Especially as so much of our clothing doesn’t have a pocket!
Many of us own loads of bags, we lug them about, fill them with things that may be useful and dance around them.
They can define a decade, a moment in time, an individual. They can be luxurious, or practical, hard working or frivolous. These days they are how we express ourselves.
Personally we believe that you can’t have too many of them, they can make or break an outfit. In fact without your bag as an accessory you are merely wearing clothes. Add the bag and you have an outfit.
So on #nationalhandbagday , give praise to your hardest working accessory. We love a handbag, and the best thing- no matter what they always fit us!
